Lore of the Spiral Knights

Lore in this game is very scarce. A lot of unknown info that could be implemented for flashback or past missions, like morai wars, wolver clans and so on. Also a lot of mysterious personas like King Tinkinzar, alpha squad, the swarm etc.
I would love to get some in depth story of the beginning of Spiral Knights, like DLC or some sort.
What do you SK players think?

I agree with Rak in this case. The lore is very pointed at the problems the knights have now, and leave the past experiences of the knights to one's imagination. At least for me, it makes the game feel very "in the moment" instead of focusing on telling a story, which I like. On the same topic though, I do wish they would either come out with new missions to expand on the story, or redo the last uplink mission such that kora does not say to wait for new missions. If we are not going to get missions, then I think I would prefer that suspense to be removed. Anyways, just my opinion, I like the story where it is.
I'm pretty sure the things you mentioned are supposed to be a mystery and left up to the player's imagination and understanding of how the world works. I like that and I don't think they need to explain every single little detail about the story, the subtle hints are great.
