Has anyone else noticed this? I thought it was kind of funny. As I was soloing through an arena an army of mecha knights were chasing me. I noticed that a few of them were falling randomly. So I looked closer and realized that whenever a mecha knight stops to attack me, whatever unlucky monster in front of it gets hit. I even saw one get killed. I knew malfunction affected other monsters but I didn't know an actual attack could hurt other monsters too.
Team Killing Mecha Knights
Lumbers can also stun monsters that get hit by their punches. You can lure monsters into the paths of a Rocket Puppy's missiles.
you can also lead those rockets into other rocket puppies which is extremely satisfying.
I noticed those, but they didn't seem as entertaining as the mecha knights. I also once saw a phantom attacking zombies on purpose. I took that opportunity to run.
Sadly, friendly fire from Lumber golems... deals no damage. I tested this on an alt going through the "Cross the chasm to Haven" dungeon solo.
While solo, Jellycubes in there have exactly 30 HP. Proto Sword deals 10 damage on a regular swing and 13 damage on a combo finisher. Proto Gun deals 6 damage per shot.
Three regular hits from the Proto Sword kill a Jellycube in there (exactly 30 damage), but a regular hit, a combo finisher, and a bullet combined will not kill a Jellycube in there (exactly 29 damage).
Dealing 29 damage and allowing a Lumber to punch the Jelly... also did not kill it.
Sooooo Lumbers can stun but not damage other monsters.
Thought so. But what about the rocket puppies? They can deal fire which causes damage over time but what about the initial blast?
The initial blast from a rocket puppy's rocket can immediately damage other enemies, as well as setting them on fire. ...but it doesn't seem to affect the rocket puppy that fired it.
Trojans probably destroy the most of their own. They are very useful on Vanaduke runs.
Yeah, trojans are great at killing EACH OTHER, not to mention everything else. (Spoiler: there are multiple trojans in some rooms in FSC.)
shocks those Quicksilvers so they can clear all up for you ._.
I often use it to my advantage, same goes for Trojans, they also damage everything they hit.
I use Trojans to kill off Slags and other Trojans in Firestorm Citadel.
