Got an unbound Magic Hood... what to do?

Well, a random guy was kind enough to give me this Magic Hood for free just because he "had extras lol". I actually was looking to get a Wolver Cap for myself, so I'm not planning to equip the Magic Hood. Right now:
-I have all the MATs for making the Wolver Cap
-I don't have the recipe (and I'd prefer getting it from Basil if I need to)
-I have more than enough Energy (189 CE) but not CR to cover the transmute fee--as of now
So I'm thinking of either buying the Cap or crafting it, but I can't figure out which would be the best way (cheapest?). Also, I don't really know what bid/buy price I should set for my Hood on AH.
Any suggestion would be much appreciated.

alternatively, keep it for later, considering a wolver hat wont take you all through the game. there will come a time when you -will- need to make more armors....
but yeah, youre kinda new, so youd need money to get a good foothold, so, like the guy above, i would reccomend selling it and buying something you were going to get/upgrade something you have.
i think you should look at the AH and see the average price to sell the hood then use those crowns to buy the recipie then craft it.
or you can see if anyone will trade you the recipie for the hood.........
