Greetings knights! Well this year has been even more interesting than the last...
Once again Lego Inc. is busy preparing to help fellow community knights. As many know who have been around the game for at least a year now, the winter season is filled with many festive and fun events which the Grey Havens team manages. One of the popular events, where knights are able to get all types of items they dream of for typically discounted prices, is the Cyber Monday flash sale, which is held the Monday after Thanksgiving (November 29 this year). Details about this event can be found on the SK wiki here. The price checking tool by Lego Inc. hosted here is not really being updated any further (sorry!) Instead you should check out Kozma's Backpack Discord server which has been tracking prices of just about all in game items; and assuming the flash sale happens again this year, all items will be documented there for players not in game to see what is listed and available when. We will monitor both the auction house and supply depot.
Also be sure to tune into Lego's Twitch page that day for possible streams/updates! Drop a follow while you're on the page! There may also be some fabulous giveaways if you're hanging around! ;)
Because in the past, we have seen time and time again knights miss a deal they greatly wanted, Lego Inc. will be helping connect knights with the items they want! This is a great way for knights who are not able to monitor the deals throughout the day, but may still have items they are interested in trying to acquire. We have a number of programs available to knights and are sure if you are hoping to get something, we can lend a hand! Please review the following program overview details:
PROGRAM OPTIONS:
Program 1: Specific item list (for items listed in the supply depot that may be simply purchased using energy. This is for knights who know exactly what you want and roughly how much it will cost)
Program 2: Auction House Bid item list (for items listed in the auction house which may not have a buyout, but may bid on. This is for knights who know exactly what you want and have an upper limit you are willing to bid to get it)
Program 3: Have Lego Inc. pick which items may be the best investment for what funds you have available (have merchant professionals select what they feel are the "best" deals to invest in. This is for knights who don't know exactly what item you want, but you are interested in possibly reselling said item for a profit and have some extra crowns/energy to invest)

PROGRAM PROCESS:
Step 1: Go to this discord or website which has all previous flash sale items and we will be logging this year’s items there as they come out. Kozma's Backpack or http://tiny.cc/skmerchants, then select the "#flash-sales-history" or "Flash Sale History" channel/tab.
Step 2: Pick out as many items as you would like to purchase (the limit is how much funds you have available at the time of reviewing the list, or if you purchase energy before the flash sale) and note down their pricing. Once you have this list of items and pricing together please contact Legobuild for having your name added to the purchasing service list.
Lego Inc. will charge a 5% service fee for early registration clients and a 10% service fee for standard registration clients as documented in the dates below. Any registration of clients after the standard registration period may end up in a higher service fee. For service on the day of the flash sale a 25% service fee will be applied to items requested to obtain, we would prefer no one requests items on the day of the flash sales, which is why our service fee is so high on the day of.
If you are purchasing a large number of items (over 100k e worth), you will qualify for the 5% service fee regardless of whether you sign up during the early or standard registration, however beyond the standard registration the service fee may still be higher. We may ask to visually see that you have the funds available in a trade window to ensure after the flash sale the transfer of items to you goes smoothly. Please keep these funds available for trade, do not go spend this amount on something else.
Example: If you select you want a prismatic halo, for simplicity we will say it appears for 5,000 e, you would pay 5,250 e if you signed up during the early registration period (5% fee) or 5,500 e if during the standard registration period (10% fee).
Step 3: You must send a mail to Legobuild (or pm him on discord, Lego2build#8255) including all your selected items and estimated prices prior to the service dates to be considered fully on the list. You will receive a mail back stating it has been received and documented if you send a mail. We will not be collecting energy or crowns prior to the potential event. We ask that players requesting our service use good faith in selecting items they wish to purchase. (Please do not agree on items you want and then back out after we have secured them for you) If your plans change, please notify Legobuild asap. This service being provided is a convenience service, NOT a loan service, we are not looking to wait weeks after the flash sale for you to save up and then get your item, what money you currently have in pocket is what you may use towards our service and visual inspection may be requested.
Step 4: Pickup your items from Legobuild after the event. At the time you pick up your items you will then pay the price the items were during the flash sale, plus the service fee. Please contact Legobuild within 14 days after the flash sale to be guaranteed your item, otherwise it may go into the Lego Inc. stock room to be used in general sales.
You may also contact Legobuild at the following:

Discord: Lego2build#8255

TERMS OF USING OUR SERVICE: (the fine print)
Lego Inc. reserves the right to deny any player the usage of our services for any reason. These services are being done on a good faith understanding that once you send in a list of items, you are essentially pre-purchasing these based on the agreed prices expected.
On Cyber Monday, we will be documenting prices of items. In the event you abandon the items with Lego Inc. (do not contact Legobuild by December 13), it will go into our standard sales shelf available to anyone for purchase. Only the knight you use for requesting the items is able to pick up the items. Please do not use a knight name change pass between requesting items and picking up your items as we will only transfer the items to the original knight. We will document down your knight name and amount owed at pick up. If for any reason you want your name removed from the request list please let us know as soon as possible. There is a chance your requested item will not appear during the flash sale. This service is being offered as a kindness to the Spiral Knight community. We understand it is hard to be online for a full day, and an item you may really want can come up while you are not online. This is strictly a voluntary service. Please do not request the moon while you only have the funds to purchase a small pebble.
If you wait past the last call registration date (November 28th) there may be additional fees associated with honoring your item requests.
For the program 3 service where you can simply request items from Lego Inc. purchasing program and we can decide for you what items would be best to invest in for best returns. You will be required to show Legobuild your funds in a trade window and you must hold those funds until after the flash sale. Then send a mail giving your approval of purchasing whatever item Lego Inc. feels is appropriate and will not be upset regardless of what item you are returned with from the flash sale from the decided price, whatever items you get back, is what it is. (we will obviously try our best to make the most educated selections based on availability) No complaints. We also may deny any knight the right to use this program option for any reason.
All participants of the program will be kept strictly confidential and the items one receives after the flash sale along with the amount of energy they decide to spend will not be disclosed to anyone outside of Lego Inc.

Be sure to save up and plan ahead if you see any items in the flash sale history list that interest you! Don't wait until the last minute! The spending limit setup for purchasing energy within the game has countless times frustrated players, but is necessary to help protect Grey Havens from fraud. With planning though you will be able to work with Grey Havens to straighten this out and not miss any opportunities for items you'd like. Please visit here for more information about spending limits and how to have them adjusted. Leave time for Grey Havens to be able to assist you! This isn't an instantaneous process.
If anyone has any general questions about our program please feel free to post here or mail me in-game (Legobuild). We are trying to spread the word to others around the community and give knights ample time to help them prepare! This is a voluntary service program we are planning to help out knights around the community.
Cheers!
~Lego Inc. Team~

POPULAR Q & A RECEIVED:
Q: What if I sign up for the service and then it just so happens I am able to be online during certain times of the flash sale to get some items I had originally asked Lego Inc. to get me?
A: We understand it can be hard to plan so far out in advanced for what you may be doing. We would strongly suggest that if you would like to use one of our purchasing programs, if you sign up for a program, you let us handle acquiring your item. While yes, if it just so happens you are able to get online and are lucky enough to be on when the one thing you asked for is up, you could pick it up yourself. You are more than welcome to reach out to us during the sale to see if we have gotten your item yet or not, more than likely we will be picking up items as soon as they are available, so if you hop online 15 minutes after the item originally had gone up, we may already have your requested item in our inventory. Think of our service more like a set and forget process, it would be quite challenging for us to handle on the acquisition day clients coming and going all changing their minds at the last minute.
Q: The fee seems to add up quickly, why are you charging this?
A: This is a voluntary service we are offering to help fellow knights. If you called a plumber to come fix your toilet they would have a fee they charge. We feel that the fees we have setup, if planned properly around our early registration period will have a very small impact on items overall prices. If you pick a few items and receive them for the flash sale price +5%, I would strongly think even if you were looking to resell these items, you would be able to make a nice profit even with the 5% fee added. For those looking to get a large number of items, or still think our fee may not be reasonable, please reach out to Legobuild, we are willing to work with clients to make everyone happy and strive to find a win-win option. We want this service to benefit the community and ultimately connect players with items they have been dreaming about!
Reminder that the standard registration phase has started if you'd like to use this service!
