It would be cool to have a shield that reflects some damage back to enemies when it successfully defends against an attack. Perhaps the Aegis?

It's an interesting idea.
I think making it a new shield would be better than tacking it onto existing shields. Maybe a version of one of the big plate shields or something.
But are you suggesting that this effect be applied to a shield that already exists or a new branch of shields?
