Now I know you all have heard this a million times, THE IN-GAME ECONOMY IS OUT OF HAND simple as that, of course the obvious problems are the CE is too expensive and its not getting any better and we might end up being forced to end up using real cash just to get by defeating the purpose in the FTP. but I making this this thread to post my suggestions for solutions and for you to post yours and to see how we can get our message across to OOO and SEGA

my personal opinion

1. feature a option to unbound items that we don't use any more at the crafting machine. (Idk maybe 50 CE?)
2. feature a option where we can convert ME to CE
3. and hey throw in a crown amplifier just for kicks how about it?

you might have seen these suggestion before but we NEED to STABILIZE the game economy

Troll all you want you know its true

too expensive? its only 4k...

too expensive? its only 4k... it was 7k+ before the steam players came

1.for 50CE unbind an item? art thou mad?! the whole reason for the binding even after upgrading it was to prevent the selling of highend equipment. o btw THERE WILL BE AN UNBIND SHOP only the price for that is roughly the same as the amount needed to craft it this including both crowns and CE amounts

2. ME to CE conversion for what? if anything the ratio from ME to CE should b 2 (ME):1(CE) something to discourage its usefulness or abuse

3. ROFLMAO and what do you expect will happen to the price of CE? it would skyrocket because of the increased amount of Crowns being pumped into the economy

Besides all the absolutely

Besides all the absolutely correct points Monkeyman's made, bear in mind that it's not on Three Rings to regulate the in-game CE market - that's on us, the players.

That's really not true

OOO is providing a product--the entertainment and satisfaction that comes from playing their game. It is absolutely 'on them' to try to make that product as good as they can make it. If the system they have established generates a substantial amount of frustration among their customers, then they really should put some effort into making it less frustrating. The players don't run the economy--that's an obvious error in reasoning. Players have some input, but the economic pressures acting on us are ones that are established and controlled by OOO.

The amount of crowns and materials you receive in the dungeons; the amount of real money it costs to purchase CE; the amount of CE it costs to do things like crafting and dungeoning; the amount of crowns it costs to do things like buy recipes, utilize gates, and utilize the auction house; the frequency with which UVs are obtained--these are the factors that control the Energy market, and they are firmly under OOO's control.

It is incumbent on OOO to attempt to provide a good game--a fun and rewarding experience. How they manage the factors that influence the CE market is part of that responsibility.

That said, it doesn't seem at all clear that the current behavior of the CE market is actually a substantial problem in the game, right now. Lots of whining on the forums suggests a problem, but not necessarily one that is substantial enough to require immediate attention.

So, Effrul, you are definitely wrong: placing the responsibility for the CE market on the players is obviously silly--even Monkeyman, who you note as being "absolutely correct" has apparently identified this ("what do you expect will happen to the price of CE? it would skyrocket because of the increased amount of Crowns being pumped into the economy?")--but it may still be the case that the CE market is essentially in acceptable shape and doesn't need to be corrected despite the complaints that continue to crop up.

Just like "monkeyman135" said.

Sorry, but all are you asking is a easier way to get crowns and CE, and THAT would eventually destroy the whole economy (and game progression).
But, I think I can see Three Rings launching a "crown amplifier", which would be very sad, personally.

Listen to monkeyman, he

Listen to monkeyman, he illustrates some good point's, and recognizes fom good flaws. He isn't trolling, it's just his point of veiw.

Converting ME to CE SEEMS like a fair idea, but in reality thet would keep players from wanting to buy CE with real money, making it extremely rare, driving the cost up. Why not try to have a mist amplifier, for a COSIDERABLE PRICE (unlike the heat amp) that doubled mist respawn rate? That would allow players to play more, making the game more fun, and as long as it dosen't cost CE, It won't deplete anyones reserves of energy.
(correct me if that thought seems to have a problem, i made it up in a bit of an "on the spot" fasihon <_<)

Then there's unbinding things. Then all the filthy rich players who keep shooting the price up will craft 5 star items and sell them to pump up their crowns, and then they will be able to buy and sell CE for even higher amounts.

A crown converter sound's nice, but they'd jack up the price just like the heat amp.

The Economy isn't bad, CE is around 4k. That being said, it rose to there from 3k, so it is rising. Since the new steam players caused it to drop, the best thing OOO can doo is to just get more people to play the game. If CE is abundant, the price will drop. They should do more things like the steam group, and add more ingame content to make the game generaly more appealing, like the snarbolax, the starter pack, or another arsenel expansion. Things like the heat amp, or as you suggested, crown amp, would suck in CE (that is, if anyone is foolish enough to buy a heat amp) and make the price jump up.

It's also wrong to say we NEED to stabilize it. We don't, I've gotten buy all the way to teir 3 through all this maddness, and i still play happily. A CE price of 4k is perfectly fine. I'm not trolling, your sort of right on how the eco could be better, but it's irrational to say it's broken or anything.

MeSako, then multiply that by

MeSako, then multiply that by ten accounts, after buying a few dollars worth of crystal energy on each so that they can all gain mist energy, and you've got all the energy you'll ever need--which is why Three Rings can't do that.

You can already do that...

You can already convert mist energy to crystal energy. You spend the mist energy to activate elevators, which take you to places where you can break things for crowns which you can then turn into crystal energy via the energy market. It's called playing the game.

Why would you want it to be easier than that? If you don't like playing the game, why are you even here?

I couldn't agree more, especially now that the new steam community has lowered the price of CE by almost half of what it was. If you don't blow all your energy on gates and rezzing yourself and play a team game like a team game, you'll always make a profit in at least a tier 2 run.
The addition of an Auction house made this even more profitable, I'm getting 16k per run on average.
People need to learn to use their CE better, that's the problem, not the economy.

You can sell your items, to venders. For something you had to have gotten some use out of, if you made it and equipped it, 3500-10000 cr seems totally fine.
