HELLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GAMERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRS
On May 30th I will be hosting a few in-game events to celebrate my 22nd birthday. The events will begin at 12PM EST and will occur in the order they're listed in here Here's a rundown of each one.
NOTE: You can register for both the snowball tournament and the trick or treat tournament.
1) SNOWBALL TOURNAMENT
This will be a 16-player bracket-style tournament consisting of a series of 1v1s in which 2 players at a time will go head to head, trying to hit their opponent with snowballs without being hit themselves. The Goal is to simply hit your opponent one time before they hit you, at which point you will win the match and advance to the next round. The loser is immediately eliminated from the tournament. This will continue until one player emerges victorious.
DATE, TIME, AND LOCATION: MAY 30TH 12PM EST at The Goose Caboose guild hall entrance.
HOW TO REGISTER: let me know in-game (watergoose) or on discord (watergoose2) that you'd like to register for the event and i'll put your name down. If the roster is already full by the time you register you can still be put on the wait list and will be put into the tournament if we need enough substitutes. Roster Capacity for this event is 16.

2nd - Snowfall Aura + Black Kat Cloak Piercing Max
3rd - Sleep Vial Bandolier

5th-8th - 1ke each
9th-16th - 100e each
(note: if you'd like to add more prizes to this prize pool contact me on discord or in game and trade me the prizes)
Additional Information:
1) This event is a community event, it is not guild-exclusive, so anyone can register.
2) All tournament participants will initially meet up at the entrance of The Goose Caboose guild hall so I can make sure everyone is here for the event. Afterwards, when the matches begin, some of you may need to clear out of the guild hall to reduce lag and prevent rubberbanding during matches.
3) We will have people recording the event in case the footage needs to be reviewed to settle disputes and accurately determine the winner.
4) Self-hits (hitting yourself with your own snowball) do not count.
5) Players must stay within the boundaries of the snowball arena during their matches or they will be disqualified. Boundaries are set at the snow blocks on the top, left, and right sides of the guild entrance room, and the bottom boundary is located between the front row of chairs near the guild entrance hallway. Players may move around freely within the arena during their matches as long as they do not step out of bounds.
6) An additional match will be held to determine 3rd and 4th place (for the purpose of handing out prizes).
7) The final match of the tournament will be a best of 3.
8) Brackets will be determined randomly.
9) Snowball buckets (provided by me) will be used for the matches. Individual snowballs are not allowed. Anyone who uses individual snowballs during their match will automatically lose the match. The buckets will be placed on the left and right edges of the snowball fight arena. Players will each start on the left and right sides of the snowball arena, but players are allowed to use either of the snowball buckets during the match.
10) Chairs will be placed at the bottom of the arena so people can spectate the matches. Non-participants are allowed to spectate, but the number of people in the guild hall will have to be limited to about 20-25 people at most to reduce lag, so whether you are or aren't registered for the tournament, you may be asked to leave temporarily and wait elsewhere until it is your turn. Those who attempt to disturb or interrupt the event in any way will be disqualified from the tournament and will not receive a prize.
11) We will have substitute participants on standby to fill in for those who register for the tournament but cancel beforehand or don't show up, or for those who get disqualified before their first match. If you register for the event but can't make it by the time it starts, please let me know in advance.
12) In case of event disruption, participants may be asked to temporarily join The Goose Caboose so that the disturbances to the event can be removed without removing any of the participants.
13) Please unequip your sprites and remain seated or still as much as you can during the event to reduce lag.
14) Prizes will be distributed immediately after the tournament ends.
2) TRICK OR TREAT CONFETTI TOURNAMENT
16 players will battle in a series of 1v1s using trick or treat confetti. Trick or treat confetti is a special kind of confetti which has an equal chance of giving you either a treat (the confetti) or a trick (the pumpkin head). In each battle, players will use the confetti simultaneously (in equal amounts) until someone gets the trick. That person is eliminated and their opponent advances to the next round. If both players get the trick, then they will continue using the confetti until only one of them gets trick while the other gets treat. These matches will continue until only one player is left standing and declared the champion.
