New update is great, but there's two things that need to be addressed

The recent server and client updates have done a lot for the sake of the game - the lag spikes that have tarnished the game for years are seemingly gone for good, and steam users can finally download the game and have it run without manually installing 64 bit java.

There have been two notable issues since the update though - the first, and most notable, is that folks that already had the game installed on steam need to completely uninstall the game and clear out the folder on steam before the game will let them launch it. The second issue is that the in-game font seems to have changed during the upgrade - going from a bold Arial Black to a much skinnier font that runs off the edge of many items in the inventory.

If anyone's ran into any other technical issues, feel free to post them here too, but these are the only two issues I'm seeing with this new update, meaning we've got a pretty good start to a modernized Spiral Knights!

Arial Italic bold

Arial Italic Bold got de-formated the question is, can be formated again? does this version of Java or the next one can handle text formating? if so, can it be restored, if not, is there anything tool to delegate the formating? is there any tool to help with the UI in General?
Can we have patch notes longer than "We done did Things and Stuff"?

I'm not a steam user and I

I'm not a steam user and I still had to reinstall the game. I thought all players had to do that... and yeah, the font, can it be fixed? I liked the previous one.

@Fangel Can you please email

@Fangel Can you please email support@spiralknights.com some screen shots of the font issues from both before the change and after along with what OS you're running? That would help us look into what's going on.
