Just an idea to be able to have 2 kind of loadout, or way to equip a loadout: eather as a gear one, with weapons, seraphinx, armor and shield, or as a costume loadout, only equiping the defined armor/shield as a costume (would support costume and shield costume too).
This would make emphase one of the current SK gameplay: build yourself a nice looking costume. It would help people have several, and be a little less tiresome to switch gear between mission without changing your skin.
Just a small feature idea
Yeah, you could also just have 2 extra options it in the menu and not having it as a specific type (but I wouldn't mind specific types; this just seems easier to add for the devs):
"Equip as gear" -> doesn't equip costume slots, even if the loadout contains them.
"Equip as costume" -> only equips costume slots of the loadout, if any.
"Equip completely" -> equips all slots (like it is now).
But in both cases there is the question on what to do with an item that would conflict. For example, if you have an Almirian Crusader Helm equipped as costume helmet and you choose "Equip as gear" for a loadout that has it as non-loadout helm. I think, in that case it should move it from costume slot to non-costume slot. If it's the other way round, it should just leave/make this costume slot empty, because the knight will look like the costume if they wear the helm in the non-costume slot, the costume slot is empty and all other non-conflicting costumes slots are applied.
Also loadouts have some significance for PvP. This must also be considered to not accidentally end up with PvP loadout bugs.
