Good day knights!
It's time for another event brought to you by Birdsong Event Co.

If you'd seen it during Cyber Monday, we had hosted a speedrun race tournament, which was pretty well received. The full tournament can be seen here: https://youtu.be/e5C16TFTz7g (Thanks Ari)

Thus, we are bringing this idea back, but this time in a more long-term format.

In this event, players will sign up to compete in a tournament of live 1v1 races of different boss missions each round. The first round will be Snarbolax, second round will be Jelly King, third will be Roarmulus Twins, and fourth will be Vanaduke. If any further rounds are required, these will be a choice of either Vanaduke or Operation Crimson Hammer between the two participants.

All races must be screen shared to and moderated by a host in discord voice channel on Birdsong Event Co. Server. These will be recorded by the host to later be compiled into one video of the entire tournament, with commentary.

Each round will be given 1 week's time for the players to arrange when they will race. If players fail to complete their race within that time, they will be disqualified.

The rules for the races are simple:
- No movement speed increase besides your sprite's perk
- No mixmasters/orbitguns
- No mods
- You must complete your round to be eligible for prizes

Prizes:
This event will have a prize pool of 1.5 million crowns (subject to increase), which will be evenly distributed to be rewarded to each player who wins a round, with higher weightage given to further rounds. The distribution will be decided based on the player count.
These will be tallied and distributed at the end.

The final winner of the tournament will be receiving a Gun Puppy Drakon Pod sponsored by Grey Havens.

Matchups will be announced on April 1st.
