Thats it.

Make these missions give out orbs/fire crystals and that way you give every player a reason to keep playing every day.

Daily Bounties

I also like the idea of daily bounties like "Complete a T3 Arcade Run", and that would reward like 10kcr and a bunch of fire crystals or something. This could rotate to PVP, like "Play 2 rounds of blast network". Just something to encourage ppl to run something other than vana. Rewards dont necessarily have to be prestige!!

Id also love this to scale with player level. If youre defender elite, youll get elite orbs, shinings, maybe even give lower ranks a weekly mission that gives a random piece of gear. How sick would it be if you could complete a T2 version of heart of ice and get a random 4* weapon?

SK needs ways to keep the playerbase engaged with the actual gameplay content in the game. Making daily bounties or missions, or even weekly missions/bounties give significant rewards would be an amazing way to pull the community away from grinding vanaduke constantly.

Any form of dailies that force players to play daily aren't healthy for games long-term. Make it a per run bounty system. Weeklies could work as long as they do not require players to do too much weekly.

Unfortunately, it being F2P, it kind of NEEDS dailies. Something to get people back on. I think the Danger Missions should all be available and have a much better reward room - then it being daily makes sense. If there's boring dailies, now THAT sucks. They have to be intuitive and creative but not overbearing in a way that you'll be at a loss if you just miss it that day.

F2P =/= Dailies

Just because something's free - it doesn't mean that you have to turn it into a 9 to 5. Forcing players to login daily to do a mere daily instead of whenever they want so that they can enjoy the game is not healthy for players and games long term. This also applies here (even if you design them in a way to make it so people don't feel like they've missed out on much).

It's way too early to talk about bringing in the masses, we need to patiently wait for the jwgl libraries to be updated first and then actual content to come in after, then we can talk about what can we do to help bring up the average player numbers to, hopefully, thousands.

Shoving daily content down people's throats will drive away majority of new players that'd otherwise stick around. Take RS3 for example, recent removal of most dailies was and continues to be healthy for the game.

You could say the same for FOMO content - there's a good chunk of people that loses interest in games just because they miss out on events.

Like I've mentioned in my previous content, you're more likely to get higher engagement if you get some kind of a bounty board that refreshes every week. Do it once for boosts that last for a week.

I think this would be good. If daily prestige gave a couple of dozen rads instead of a number that did nothing, then I'd feel encourage to at least hop on for the 15 minutes it takes to do that. This is far more than the 0 minutes a month I currently can muster the will for. Systems that ask you to run the arcade or at least run different missions would also be nice.

If logging on every single day feels like too much, then there could be a buildup system like in Deep Rock Galactic where up to 3 dailies are stored which can be cleaned up playing 2-3 times per week.

I'm not trying to endorse the predatory dailies

@Calyos hey whoa we're on the same team here I also don't want insanely boring dailies. But there's gotta be something to get people brought back in but not make them feel FOMO you know? (that's what the prize boxes are for) It's just something that gives a bigger reward to what we have now or weeklies or SOMETHING that people can have a goal towards for things like UV tickets, crystals, etc but nothing like a long grind where you HAVE to login everyday

Mayhapsperbechance weeklies

I agree that dailies often wind up overwhelming players. I've played MMOs that squeezed the will to play out of me pretty quick with how many different things it wanted me to do every day. From what I hear, even FFXIV is trying to move towards a weekly bounty system as opposed to daily stuff.

These systems exist for a reason. They absolutely help with engagement, otherwise this wouldn't be such a common live service trope. Companies seem to be trying less constricting avenues now though.

I like the idea of weekly bounties. Not really sure how I'd go about implementing them but I'd appreciate some sort of reward for playing while being able to do it on my own terms. Storing dailies also sounds okay. I haven't played any games that tried that method so I can't comment on its pros/cons.
