My party and I got locked in one of the mini-arenas on the 2nd floor of the Ice Queen Shadow Lair... We killed all the enemies but were unable to leave as the gate stayed up. Have videos and screenshots but it sucks that I wasted the key.

Lemme guess, you used a mixmaster or an orbitgun to sequence break the top right room by breaking the ghost block before you got to the point where you would normally be able to reach it.
Which I feel like is useful information, because the only real bug involved is that mixmaster and orbitgun can shoot through walls.
Arguably, the room should be redesigned, but it is, as far as I'm concerned, working properly so long as you don't abuse a bugged weapon.
Or was it a different reason?
