Good afternoon,

This started happening after the Forge update dropped. Whenever I hit the play button on Steam I am greeted with a Java window that says, "We were unable to initialize the game's graphical display." I have followed the steps to ensure compatibility but I am still unable to launch the game. I have also tried uninstalling the game, deleting the game files and installing the game again, and verifying game files integrity through Steam.

My PC specs are:
OS: CachyOS
CPU 9800X3D
GPU: RTX 5080
RAM: 32GB

These are the two warnings I get in the projectx.log file:
2026/05/10 17:39:29:222 WARNING P$a.b: Couldn't create window!
2026/05/10 17:39:29:223 WARNING P$a.b: Failed to create display.

Any help to point me to the right direction would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
