Right now, reaching 'Maximum Movement Speed' in Spiral Knights is locked behind a massive paywall or extreme RNG, forcing players to rely on the expensive Somnambulist's Totem or event-locked sets like Black Kat. To make high-mobility gameplay more accessible for the average player and improve build diversity, the Mercurial Mail and Demo sets should be buffed to provide Movement Speed: Medium per piece, allowing players to reach Max Speed through their armor alone.

This wouldn't disrupt the current meta but would offer a viable F2P-friendly alternative where players trade the raw power of Black Kat for built-in mobility. In this scenario, players could use their trinket slots for weapon damage -reaching 'Very High' at most- creating a fair trade-off that offers a cheaper path to high-speed builds without overshadowing the maximum damage potential of elite endgame gear.

The Proposal:

• Buff Mercurial Mail to provide Movement Speed: Medium per piece.
• Buff Demo sets to provide Movement Speed: Medium per piece.

Why this makes sense:

• Accessibility: High-mobility becomes accessible to the average player, not just those with millions of crowns.
• Build Diversity: It encourages using different sets instead of being forced into the Black Kat "meta" for every speed build.
• Balanced Trade-off: Black Kat remains the king of raw power, while these sets become a "utility-first" alternative.
