Title.
My experience with How Important Guilds Are in games varies widely. In some games they're more social organizations than anything but in some games guild halls have really important resources and bonuses?

The wiki page on guilds was kinda vague on what the benefits are if any so
Uh
I thought I'd ask!

The article is quite clear

The main thing is the guild hall article could be more clear on what benefits those bring, but the main guild article is perfectly clear on all other benefits.
You get your own chat channel, and you get a second friends list.
And you get your access to your own little mini-Haven with stuff placed more tightly and with more decor, assuming you joined a rich guild. Oh and possibly the guild training hall, which has the training dummies. But you can also just walk into an open guild hall even without being a member.
But there's no resources, no bonuses, no missions. No need to join a guild.

right

Spiral Knights is more fun in a party than solo. If you want to form a party, then you can stand in Haven asking random people. But it might be more productive to join a guild and then get guild members to play with you. Because then they tend to know and trust you more.

Otherwise, there is a lot of cosmetic stuff (making your guild hall fancy), but no need to join a guild.
