It orange this time and seems like this might be the cycle we have to experience for the next 6 years which feels very much like a trickle feed version of "Gem 2" where we had gem boxes for 2 years straight which was the most dead period Spiral Knights has had.
We now have tech red, violet, yellow, and azure airbreaker costume shields, a black kat shield, a full assortment of hololite shields, and an amber apocrea obstacle shield.

Costume shield variants is now at 58

-Please make it clear in the flavor text and forum posts that items in cycling events won't be available again if that is intended because it is not with the obsidian obstacle, we have never had a item not return in cycling event like that to my knowledge. So for future events please either don't remove them or be very clear that once this event is done the item is gone. I'm guessing this will be the case with clockblockers where the flavor text implies it.

-Stop giving us costume shields please create something to recolor or tweak that isn't another costume shield, just like gem boxes it is to much at least alternate it with something.

-Add an obsidian gem aura to a promotion box or to apocrea itself, should be a simple change to use existing gem auras and make an obsidian version it already has wings and a crown. This is the type of thing that makes people excited to play, not copy paste costume shield. Reskins of weapons that haven't been reskinned is also a much more popular route in promo boxes and cycling events. Acheron, Gran Faust, Divine Avenger, Volcanic Pepperbox, and many more would be very cool and popular to see this with. Consider recoloring those variants a few pepperbox reskin/recolors would be much better than 58 costume shields.
