some of the animations seem a bit wonkey. The "Shield Away" animation doesn't seem to apply properly sometimes and the shield "expanding" after the player defends looks very janky.
Not that its a bad thing but this shield is super bulky which makes it hard to ignore after it expands so much.
Also I get that its probably too late now but it does seem kind of odd that this is a shield costume instead of a craftable piece of equipment much like the other obsidian items. I don't even care if the stats are bad, I just feel like this was a missed opportunity to add a new (actual) shield to the game.
I don't want to sound like I'm just complaining though, the fact that we got anything new is awesome.
I think the animations look very bad whenever you are just inspecting someone. For whatever reason the shield expands over and over and over on the character model of the person you are inspecting. In the animation preview, it makes sense of course, since it is a preview of the animations, however on the physical character on the inspection menu is a bit much.
