This is not an in-game suggestion but a merchandise suggestion! Please don't move this thread, dear overlords!

For years, a lot of us have been wanting some wicked cool merchandise from you, our overseers. Through Makeship, you may be able to produce some awesome plushies for us! Not only would this hopefully be bountiful for y'all, it could also be a chance for some advertising for Spiral Knights! I can imagine someone checking Makeship for some other campaigns and then WHAM! they see a little Spiral Knights plush from that game of their childhood. Not sure if others have already made this suggestion before but I figure now would be the best time for it since the population is the biggest it's been in a decade. Please consider this suggestion and make our dreams come true!

I'm absolutely on board with this so big +1! Plushies (specifically) would be AMAZING but also some time thrown at the basics like art totes, game art/concept art prints, even the basic shirt/hoodie with prints could be awesome.

I will honestly be thinking about this and sketching plushie ideas for the next week.

I'd love to have at least some kind of pins or t-shirt with prints, like Crimson Order, game logo, cradle, gremlin logo, etc. Though I'm sure it wouldn't ship to my country, it would be nice for people to have them

I think this would be a great way to put some extra money where it can positively impact the game! I might even suggest a contest where we can submit our own designs for judging and the best ones get made. This would be so cool!

Going Wild with Ideas!

I can think of a whole bunch of things that could be made into plushies from this game!

The sprites are obviously options. I would love a seraphynx plush, or maybe a maskeraith plush (especially of the halloween reskin. I'm a sucker for my onion boy).

Devilites, gremlins, slimes, MAYBE even our own Lord Vanaduke to beat up at home *cough* I mean errrrr..... and CHROMALISKS. A plush Chromalisk would be a dream come true. Especially if we had all the colors! Anyways, I am so down for this idea.

Dw dw I won't get too excited.

Also.... plushes of the knights would be cute too xD

Don't get me wrong, literally everything in this game can be turned into a plushy and it would be awesome but personally, my guilty pleasure are keychains. Snipes, devilites, chromalisks, wolvers - all of those could fit.

There's also the cool 3D printed ones that can move a bit.

This has nothing to do with your request, just more of a fun fact. Way back in the early days there was an attempt to make some plushies and figures. All of them ended up a little (or a lot) "off" and we didn't continue to pursue it. Obviously this was quite a long time ago and things are different now. However one of the failed love puppies still haunts my nightmares.

I would like to comment that the reason I suggested Makeship specifically was because it is seemingly low effort but for a quality product. As far as I understand, Makeship handles the majority of the creation process, allowing companies to focus their efforts on more important subjects. While I know many players are interested in other merchandise such as figurines, key chains, shirts, and the like, those may require a bit more effort than Grey Havens can exert right now.

I feel like creating a campaign through Makeship is a low risk, high reward situation that can demonstrate how serious the community truly is about purchasing merchandise. If the 200-purchase requirement is not met, it demonstrates that our community is not as on board for merch as we believed. If we blow it out of the water and meet or exceed the goal, we will learn that there is an actual market for merch. The plus side is that Grey Havens creating a campaign should come at no cost at all, monetarily (at least as far as I'm aware).

The only realistic concern I can foresee with a Makeship campaign is that there will absolutely be complaints about shipping, which Grey Havens will have no control over whatsoever. Shipping tends to take 3-6 months after campaigns are complete, which may annoy many. People will have to learn patience and trust the process.

Physical merch may last forever...!!

I definitely love the sound of this idea, and there's plenty of things in this game that could translate easily to plushies and accessories. It does make me wonder what the best thing to do first and gauge interest would be though.
