I can't access Steam Overlay again after this update. Will Steam Overlay on Mac get fixed again at some point? I hope so since I would like to make purchases again someday. Especially if another cosmetic I like appears in the supply depot.

Workaround
One workaround is by creating an alt account, purchasing directly through Grey Havens and then mailing the prize boxes / energy to your Steam character.

Now that's one solution to consider...
Which isn't a bad idea although the only thing deterring me is going back and forth between accounts until this gets fixed.
Not that my workaround is any better. Install old copy of Windows through bootcamp > download Steam > purchase Energy through the Supply Depot in-game.
Assuming this is still ongoing due to the lack of responses, but you're not alone in this one. I'm struggling to find a solution for this too.
If it helps to mention, here are some methods I've tried proving unsuccessful:
-Disabled DNS/VPN
-Turned off Private Relay (subscribed to iCloud)
-Uninstall Steam > Reinstall Steam
-Reset router
-Disable firewall
-Switch Wi-Fi connections
-Updated macOS
-Granted Steam all necessary permissions in System Settings > Privacy & Security
I just got word that SK is back (sssorta...?) and wanted to dive in where I left off in the midst of the excitement. To ease the grind I thought to scrounge up what funds were left in my Steam Wallet to spend toward Energy, but no matter what I tried it's still showing that Steam Overlay isn't enabled on the Supply Depot window even though it is.
