A easy fix to a massive problem

As a bunch of people have been talking about recently, including myself. E is not used for much, especially because the in game costs for anything that uses e, are quite massive. Now u put this into relation to the USD amount, and why would a player feel incentivized to buy gear / items from the depot for any reason other then the usual stuff players already buy. Even recovering accessories off armor is a steep price, which isn't a big problem for the reasons of there needing to be a energy sink in the game, but for the reasons of incentivizing players to spend the paid currency, also incentivizes players to buy more of the paid currency. So my proposal is this.

Change the USD - Energy price, Give us more energy for the same dollar value, there will be 0 loss on the income of energy sales, if anything there will be a increase, as mentioned more players will actively be incentivized and feel less crappy about spending energy on various things in the depot. Including weapons / gear. It hurts nobody but the player-base for it to be as low as it is, it just should not be.

As it currently stands any piece of 5 star gear is 3500 energy, and 3500 is 10 dollars. Heat amplifiers are a massive red flag in my opinion, as for a 30 day booster it is 5k energy. or 15$. Just to heat your gear a little bit faster?

Sprite gear is a section that could see some love, and thus causing more energy purchases as well. Most sprite skins in the game are extremely rare as they only came from a box released AGES ago that never reran. Players LOVE fashion in this game, and I think their sprites deserve some of that fashionesta love.
Most players don't get a chance to get any of the sprite skins outside of the two that are craft-able threw in game events, so providing a way for them to be obtainable threw recurring sales of the sprite skins already available in game, or new ones the team could make in 5 minutes and throw up on the shop!

A new decoration section could be added to go along with my (not to self promote) Player housing-like idea of player specific mission lobbys, with the ready room being move to here to display each knights decorations as they log in and to others when they host a lobby. But also with the current guild hall system and guilds getting a massive resurgence of active players taking them in.
This section could include certain decorations that are always on sale, and some that change out whenever the team sees fit.

This is something I feel most of the players would accept openly and have 0 complaints with, and from a developer standpoint, does not hurt the company at all, if anything generates more income. So therefore I along with many others see this as an entirely win-win situation, that will not ultimately fix the growing economic issue within SK, but without a doubt aid it drastically.

I have no idea what to say except...

the worst part of the sprites is that They are not skins.. they are re-skins, You have to re-level them... I don't want to re-level them, if it where a skin it would be like costumes, you could switch them at will... You can't. That need a revision a deep full revision since You should be able to switch which ultimate ability the sprite have also at will (when ever You can change your gear), and be clear on what abilities DO... clear tooltips.
also the price of the Energy packs are super outdated... circa 2012 levels of outdated...

Sick Joke

So the rage prize box mentioned above just ended. SO because that didnt make enough money, we are now going to put pauldrons on depot for 50 usd? is this actually some kinda joke GH, the whole community has been complaining and complaining with the lack of care for what the community wants, and everytime we do you just shove it in our face with even more bullshit. It is BEYOND greedy to list a cosmetic for 50 dollars hours after taking the previous greed box off depot.

Addition to above point

The only people that will realistically be buying these pauldrons, are those who a already have the energy for them. No player (including myself) who is actually interested, is willing to spend the price tag of 50 dollars for the singular accessory. If the price was cut down to maybe 10 dollars, I can see myself being more lenient on spending the money. So again, Change pricing, change how greedy the company is, and make more money in the process by incentivizing more spending.

New players getting into the game are WAY LESS incentivized to spend those high price tags as they have no investment in the game yet, threw time or items. Give them a bunch of shiny accessorys they have been dreaming of sure, but dont ask them to spend 50 dollars on a game they arnt certain they wanna keep playing or not yet. Beyond greed.

response to above

to quote yourself from literally your own post a day ago:

At the time of writing this post, Rage Prize Boxes were released on the Supply Depot for players to buy, within 10 minutes haven was full of players all spending their crowns to convert and buy the boxes, within 1 hour the E-Cr rate rose by 2k crs. This is exactly what needs to continue, and proves the E-Cr market needs to have stable currency sinks for both.

compare that to your post from here and you can see why some of us have a hard time understanding what you are trying to communicate.

Anyways, I don't understand why you are upset about the pauldrons. If you look at any sort of logs, you will see that these pauldrons (raging, frenzy, storming) have always been depoted at the same price point for YEARS. It's a very understandable follow-up to the rage box. Even with that being said, people have been buying the pauldrons for 25ke+ for the past couple months from merchants. If anything, GH is offering them at a cheaper price point. They are supposed to be a rare item.

Your sentiment would be much better used towards other depot listings like the Silver PC, which during promo sold for 1/3rd what the standard depot listing price is. Not an item that GH is actually depoting at a cheaper price-point than player-made prices.

new players agonizing over pauldrons?

It surprises me that new players would have any interest in buying pauldrons — not at $50, but also not at $1. They're busy with other things, aren't they?

I agree with Bopp

Yeah the Pauldrons are definitely only something spenders/accessorizers/end-game players are worrying about.

I do agree that some depots in the past historically have been egregious (Silver PC at 100kE, Storm/Rage Armors & Hazardous Hedge Coat being depot'ed directly for stupid numbers.

But Raging, Storming, and Frenzied Pauldrons all have been depot'ed many times before for 20kE without anybody really having any issue with it - and there is a market for them which means that the price is agreeable with some people.

Understandably, if they're not worth that to you then the option is to just not buy them. But based on historical data, the change to its price doesn't really seem necessary to me.

I also kinda don't agree on giving more energy per dollar amount tbh for a couple reasons - that would just saturate the market even more and perpetuate the problem I stated with energy prices, which EXACTLY is the cause of the rising prices of items in the player market. Additionally, as real-world values change globally due to rising minimum wages, cost of living, general income, etc., $50 for example is worth less it did 10 years ago. As nice as it would be, it makes no sense to change energy values given per dollar, considering $50 for 20kE is, in the grand scheme of the real world, a better value than it was in the past.

Also just to plug-in, imo 2-day heat amplifiers are GOATed. I would absolutely spend what is currently 28kcr for two days of mass heating. The difference is incredible. The longer ones are kind of a trap though unless you really intend to be heating for 30 days straight to get value out of them.
