Returning player thinks about Jelly Green Giant and the Jelly Farms level

Hello everyone, hope you're all doing fine! Recently got back into the game with the Forge update recently and've been having loads of fun with the game again! During my daily runs I'd reminded myself that the aforementioned Jelly Farm level's sorta been split in half for a long while, and it sorta connected with me realising that the Slime family (And by extension Pierce) doesn't really have a rotating Event boss like Undead and Construct/Fiend do with Margrel, the Apocrean Harvester and Tortodrones. There's a few other things I could add too, but I don't wanna make this into a post for the Suggestion's board lol.

I'm also definitely aware of the various Slime sub-levels like Casinos, Treasure Vaults and Starlight cradle, but I wondered if the Jelly Green Giant could be reintroduced the same way Tortodrones were as an event and what the community may think of the concept as a whole. Is it wanted? Interesting? A tired topic? I'd definitely like to hear some people's opinions on the matter having been gone for so long. Maybe the Slime lockbox's filled its niche even.

If this ends up on another board regardless, I apologise for posting it in the wrong place first, I'm not the most forum-savvy but I was kinda burning to ask around given Tortodrones, since they got re-added, have always left me scratching my head about the other cut bosses.

That area's fully functional, just cordoned off. A long time ago, a GM let people over there.

Would be nice if it were made properly accessible in T2/T3. Don't quote me on this, but I vaguely remember the explanation for JGG being it was way too dangerous for new players.

Thanks for replying!

That's an understandable reason if it could show up in T1 lol, if that was the case I do wonder what it could do, but that's probably lost to time for the foreseeable future. I do agree with the idea of it returning for T2 and T3 though.

Here's some video footage of it from one of those cases: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bJCBGr35PCs&t=2m50s

You are right about it

We have harvest festival season but not Fallow and Rest, nor Soil Preparation what if the slimes where responsible for that? Would that work?

Ooh that was fairly recent, and the presence of poison lichens actually checks out with what I was thinking about doing for it, thanks for sharing that! It kinda paves the way for the Vog Cub that was in earlier builds as well, but one thing at a time haha.

That does sound like a neat idea given the presence of the Jelly Farms themselves, alongside being a nice event to shuffle in when there's a big downtime between other events (or serving as a Seasonal one since Undead/Shadow and Gremlin/Elemental cover two others) but I'll refrain from idea-dumping too hard lol.

yes, we are not designers... or are we?
I would like a chill event, not a "Black kat" levels of pressure, something like anniversary event, but less fight-y? an event to remind the importance of the Jelly farms and how they "help" to the "fallow and rest" or "Soil preparation" after all jellies where born as the "cleaners of the Dungeons" so a chill event could be nice!

Maybe, yeah. The seasonal

Maybe, yeah. The seasonal events to my memory are a lot more relaxed (Grinchlin was a headache since I lacked equipment though lol) in terms of replaying, and I definitely don't mind more of that. It does feel like Seasonal events are a lot more cosmetic-based than equipment-based though and Slime's got more than enough of those lol.

Part of this idea came from me looking at the Wiki and found that Poison has very little in terms of bombs and swords (Two of them coming from the same event, same for their damage type) for example, and this'd be a good way of adding new content without having to necessarily do extra work. (I.E Reintroducing the JGJ with some new pierce weapons to go alongside it)

'course, this is all me being an "ideas guy" since Gray Havens' (most likely) got a roadmap they're working on, and I'm making this very nebulous to respect that they're busy as-is.
