Kinda afraid it might just be a placebo, but I've noticed I'm blazing through enemies more consistently. I can get my attacks off very late without issue anymore (usually if I hit an attack shortly before an enemy attacks me, the game registers the enemy's attack before mine), this allows me to play very aggressively. The only remaining issue is that whenever I get attacked, there is some degree of rubberbanding (it gets worse if I get attacked multiple times in a short span).
I daresay the server now compares action timestamps and gives priority to earlier actions rather than simply serving actions on arrival (in other words, if you have high ping, the server treats your actions as late as your actual ping. With timestamps, even if your message is late, the server will delay actions received sooner than you but with a later timestamp).
Anyways, I'd like to extend my gratitude for such a change (if it has indeed occured)
I have not noticed any change to fighting timing. I'm still as mediocre a fighter as ever. :)
