I have many suggestions, not so major as to change the game as we all know and love it, but in ways that will greatly affect haven as a whole.
Starting with the deflating energy market. I (and many other players) have encountered a point in Spiral Knights where we want to buy and sell using energy, but no one is accepting energy. Why? Energy is at an all time low. I suggest old prize boxes or items/accessories are put in the Supply Depot every weekend, spicing up player count, and skyrocketing energy back into a usable currency. The result? More people would be incentivized to buy energy as it would be a usable currency.
Next, and this one is a very impactful change, would be about the binding system. I think the binding system in some scenarios is very understandable such as in the case of DLC or mission earned items, but it removes the easy-flow of the player market. I believe that when an accessory is attached to an item, sure it should take a remove accessory item to remove the accessory, which makes sense, but having to unbind weapons, armors, shields, etc. Costumes can't even be unbound, which sucks altogether. Now to trade costumes they should have no accessories on them, that way it incentivizes removing all accessories, taking ENERGY and then also making the player market feel very fluid, while giving access to all new players to obtain old items from older players.
For the unused Moonstone and Valestone crystals, we need a way to transmute the crystals into the three main crystals, giving them a use, and this service could cost crowns, and making the NPC "Wegner" useful.
On that note, I feel that some of the sprites *AHEM Maskeraith* have been very underwhelming. I think slight returning of Maskeraith or even a mini rework would be good for them.
Caboosing that thought (Shout out The Goose Caboose) Sprites could be a lot more useful in fights and different niches if *drumroll* their abilities had different cooldowns! All separate and with the 3 abilities come separate timers respectively regarding their 1 2 and 3 slots. (Do what you see fit with this)
Moving on with the promotional boxes, I feel that when you run a MKII everyone is gonna want the older items to match with. That said I feel that the MKII boxes would be on the promotional as usual being 14 for $49.99 USD etc. and the older box be in the Supply Depot for normal box price (3500e) as to continue the flow of energy while also giving people options to buy the old items as well as the new ones.
Thank you so much for your time reading this, and please take it into consideration.
Sincerely
Confection - 30ke
Gourmet - 10ke
Spritely - 10ke
OG Grey - 3.5ke
Katastrophe - 7.0ke
Guild Prize Boxes - 7.0ke
Most Other Boxes - 3.5ke
Disclaimer!! These are just prices I came up with to better balance the rewards in there to give a better idea of prices for depot! I stress heavily that this would save the energy crisis if these were run weekly/biweekly on weekends as promotions.
