Currently the news that mentions the new Kataclysmic event mentions a "Shrouded Crest" that can be purchased in Moorcroft, however it seems that the Shield is unable to be purchased at all, as Montague's stock has not changed at all.
I'm currently feeling as if this is a bug, and surprised that no one has made any attempts to see if it's in game, or not supposed to be.
Please help.
I genuinely have not seen anyone wear it.. Until now. So I decided to check back at the post and saw the message, and I didn't even know that there was Montague at the end of the mission at all. I don't even remember him being in the mission in the past either, so it's kind of extremely weird to have only the mission one have it in stock, and not the one in Moorcroft..
I think they should've clarified this if that was how they wanted to, but in the News Post it's mentioned that he at Moorcroft would sell it there.
I just hope it's fixed later.
So, I got an email, since I also sent it to their support email as well, since I forgot that existed.
It turns out this is intentional...
It's just a bit confusing on the News Post, I guess they forgot and simply just said the one in Moorcroft, whoops.
Kind of a bummer but, I guess it's for the people who participate in the event, thankfully I got my shield! I just hope everyone realizes that it's from the one in the actual mission, though if you're grinding prestige it's kind of a given for people who do.. I don't usually!
They did say they'd try to give better clarification for future events so, yippee.
For whatever reason, the Shrouded Crest is only available from the Montague that shows up right at the end of the daily prestige mission. I'm not sure if this is intentional (the same way the new Torto helmet was only available during the event, instead of making it a Strange Alchemy recipe) or if they just forgot to update the normal Montague's stock, but I've definitely seen it for sale in-game.
