Lets be real... the event just isn't fun
This last one was especially horrible, what do you do? Play the same two levels on repeat and hope to find that 0.01% item that you need to get resources for 4 different armor lines.
Beyond the absolute stupidity of locking 3 of the armor lines behind the Book drop when their respective helmets do not require it, you also have to deal with the mind numbing gameplay of doing the exact same missions again and again and again.
This last event highlighted new issues IMO... the clockworks just didn't have anything. I couldn't find any of the gates during the entire event that had Tier 3 undead levels starting at Emberlight. I either had to play the first levels of Weight of Darkness or Alone in the Dark, or try to run through Stratum 5 to get to Stratum 6 where there were a few undead levels.
It Came from Below also starts the mission with a Candlestick keep.... but it's also shock themed just like Alone in the Dark...
There's no event rooms like the Tortodrone, Punkin, or Grinchlin events set in the clockworks levels.
The level variety available just sucks, people need a change of scenery and more ways to play.... at the very least manually make some Gates during the event to be entirely undead themed
Yeah, I was laughing the other day because there were 2 or 3 different gates that had a beautiful set of guaranteed Candlestick Keep or Scarlet Fortress levels at the start of T1...which was completely useless for farming this event.
