I wish there was a way to disable login notifications from myself. Sometimes I'm not in a mood to chat and guildies will welcome me back despite me just wanting to pop in to check on an auction bid or something. Or I might get invited to run a Vana party but am not able to and just don't feel like chatting/responding at that moment.
One suggestion would be to toggle a setting so that whenever I log in with the setting enabled, friends and guildies will not be notified that I logged in. This could possibly be a fairly easy-to-reach button to avoid going through menus since it is likely players will be switching the setting on and off frequently depending on how they feel.
Another idea is for there to be an Invisible mode, where players cannot invite you to their parties, join you, as if you are currently offline (but /w still works), and logging in does not send any notifications to anyone that you've logged in. Additionally, entering Invisible mode will broadcast a message to your friends and guildies that you've went offline, while disabling Invisible mode will let friends and guildies know that you've gone online.
I agree with this suggestion but I also want to ask, does the /afk utility persist across sessions until /back is invoked? If not, that'd be a nice setting too.
