Noticed on EU servers with English language setting, but affects multiple regions, but not all language settings. Many ppl mentioned it happens to them and ppl they know.
It happens, for example, right when you press the "Go to Haven" button after login from Ready Room.

(outdated: I will send a bug report later. I have to wait for a timeout, because the feature to reconnect to a crashed session is also broken for me (for longer; separate post). I hope someone else sends a bug report sooner.)

// edit: changed that I got multiple reports from ppl saying it happens to everyone

I sent a bug report

Also I did more tests: It happens regardless of from where you enter Haven. I tried from Guild Hall exit, from Hall of Heroes exit, from Moorcroft dedicated Haven lift.

When the crash happens, you can still press Esc and log off/quit. (You don't need to kill the client. Therefore, you will go to ready room after you log on again and you can play parts of the game not in haven.)

Did more tests

It also happens when using chat shortcuts like /bazaar , /ah or /arcade . This also rules out it's just affecting some areas of Haven; No, it affects all parts of Haven.
I tried with Australian an USA servers too. They all are affected.
This will probably block new players from doing the missions on Bazaar and block them from advancing.

WORKAROUND

Some languages servers are not affected. When you go to Haven, it will first drop you on an instance matching your language settings. While English is always broken, other languages (like German or Spanish) allow you to go to Haven for that language, but switching back logs you out and in and drops you in ready room. So you have to keep it on that language for as long as you do Haven things. Hard for ppl who know only one language.

There are apps like DeepL and Google Lens that can translate from photos you take with your phone. Hope that helps.
