I'm hearing lots of reports that people have stopped receiving metal lockboxes. I don't think I've received a single one while spike farming or running fsc, when I used to be receiving a nice trickle of them.

It seems like this previous patch is completely untrue now, and there is some new hidden mechanic put in place preventing lockbox drops: "Fixed issues with how metal lockbox were awarding. All box drops chances should be even across the board for all knights regardless of age, activity, etc. Fair and square; even-steven."

This is disappointing because it finally seemed like people had a chance to obtain mirrored lockbox exclusive eyes and height modifiers. I never understood why these were so rare in the first place.

What's going on here? It would be nice to hear from the GMs on this.
