Howdy,

A third branch of the Order of Cross Guild, called OoC Emissary, has been founded with a special mission in mind and seeks a specific type of member to join its ranks.

The Order of Cross Guild has members that approach the game with the intention of, "Helping Others" and OoC Emissary focuses on helping New Players.

How do we do this?
1. Meet and greet in Rescue Camp: By having a alternate character in Rescue Camp we try to provide a service to new players by answering questions about the game, trying to save them crowns (money) from 'wasting it' on the gear there, and occasionally offering them a 'Starter Pack' of gear to be better prepared for Haven Tier 1 (provided by members of the other guilds or internally to OoC Emissary).
2. Then when they arrive in Haven we attempt to show them the ropes: take them around Haven, take them through a Tier 1 run (usually Snarby so they can start collecting for the token gear), continue to answer questions, etc. - and when they are ready to move on, we hope they consider giving back by wanting to join one of the other OoC Branches.
3. We have a Guild Forum for this and other things Guild related.

About me:
I am an older player that doesn't have the chops to hang in Tier 3, no eye-hand coordination. I tend to spend my Mist energy on Tier 2 and Tier 3 runs, or as mentioned, taking new players through a Snarby run. When I am low on Mist energy I tend to hang out in Rescue Camp with my Alt (Gun-Slinger). Even with a handle like Gun-Slinger, I prefer bombs and bombing and enjoy teaching new players - that have a similar desire - the 'basics' (as I am no self professed expert by any means!) of bombs and bombing.
