well seeing as there has been a lack of it, i will be hosting a competition with in game items as prizes!
To win basically post your fan art of the game (it can be drawings, gifs, papercraft) and the top three and a few runners up will win prizes!

What?
this competition will be based around spiral knights, and whoever makes the best art in the end wins (as voted by public after a selection of the best chosen by me/the spiral gods alliance.)

Sooo....What are the prizes?
1st place. 1x shadow driver (5star alchemer)

2nd place. 1x Dragon scale

3rd place. a choice of: philoso feather, volcanic iron, royal core, plasma cell or reaper rib
ADDED silverweave and primal ore
also looking for donations of the new mats for extra incentive!

runners up. a random prize i feel like giving at that time.

How do I enter
NO ENTRY FEE ( claims your 500crowns cobalt lol)

Then, when exactly do i enter?
now finishing when i have enough entries

Need ideas?
being creative can be anything and if your stuck heres a list of ideas:
sketches
comic strips
minecraft structures
IRL modifications
food
photoshops
re skinned gear
etc.

and if your not artistic, creativity points and originality can still win you a prize =D.

anything else
if theres something you think should be added or changed, or just something you completely disagree with just post here and it can be sorted =D

and remember to post your pics on the wiki first, and add a link to it on these forums =D and multiple entries will be accepted (...for a price lol)

I'll cover the entry fees of the first 20 entries, with a max of 4 entries per person. I'll also provide 5k each to the first 5 people to enter, provided the entries aren't absolute rubbish. If i feel you spent 4 minutes in an attempt to get 5k, rather than produce some fan art, you're not getting anything more than your entry fee covered, basically.

I'm working on something, but don't be too surprised when it sucks. My editing skills extend to cropping and pasting. That said, I'm going to attempt to make something out of many different screenshots from in game. Probably won't be done for the next couple days, so I'd appreciate it if you could tell me in case there's a problem with using game images or something.

You can go to an online image

You can go to an online image editor site to make the white transparent, but if you do that, everything close to the colour white will turn transparent

also... seeing as many people are saying they aren't good at drawing....i am opening the competition to include anything thats creative: this means you can write a storyline, write a poem, or what ever you want. so anything will be accepted as long as its creative. =D and because of this the comp will be extended to the 12th of march, and the winners will be drawn immediately after that.

I suppose he's reasoning why he hasn't entered. Afterall, every entry seems to count now.

However, you needn't worry; I'm sure just about every post here is read by those kind triplets of extremity paraphernalia, and we have months old art and comic threads here - just 2, prime examples. I'm sure they've said themselves that any image pertaining to SpiralKnights is to be uploaded on the wiki; if you do that, you're fine.

The water is admittedly messy, but it's a nice blast radius effect, and the messy adds to the illusion in a way.

If anything, perhaps the layer of sand around the bomb should be broken? It looks a bit... like just a half-shell sitting there.
