So I'm literally a recipe purchase away from winmillion and was looking to get a 4 * item.. (quite a proud moment for me honestly)..
And someone in game tells me I should switch weapons and abandon winmillion because it can't go 5 *...
Would I be better off just getting winmillion now, making money using it with its higher stats?
or should I heed their advice and go find a completely different upgrade path?
I'm not sure now..
I am thinking since a tempered calibur is only 14k ish and I have 10k now..
I will just wait till my mist energy comes back.. do some dungeon crawling... and buy a tempered calibur for 14k.
then hopefully I will get the ingredients needed for whatever the 4* incarnation of the calibur is and it will just be a day or two before I get the 4* version.

Before ditching anything, read the numerous threads where the advantages and problems of the spur line were debated.
There are some very big fans of the Winmillion and others (like me) who really don't care.
You might even want to buy a 2* calibur to see if you like the feel before choosing.
I am going to keep my arc razor and probably even upgrade it one day..
For now after buying my brother a 2* calibur earlier today and seeing generally how it handles.
I think I'm going to switch over so that I can get 5* later.
With that said I'm not letting go of my arc razor either because, if a 5* ever comes out for it.. I will probably upgrade to that too..

Winmillion will disappoint you greatly. I wouldn't go for it.
Coming from someone who used winmillion to level 10.
It's not worth it. I noticed it's damage seems worse than most other swords it's same level, as you're not going to hit with all 6 hits consistently.
The charge attack is absolute garbage, unless they've fixed it since I stopped using it.
And the lunge you get from attacking will regularly walk you straight into hazards/enemy attacks.
Added to that, if you're facing enemies that dodge like wolven, and the little demon guys. Have fun, you'll be chasing them around the entire floor.
It's 400 Energy. With that same energy amount, you can craft up to another 3* item (10, 50, and 200). So really, it's a decision of whether you want to go balls-out or try another item before you're committed.
