I'm guessing this was in the original design or just not thought of but every enemy is impervious to the traps/hazards. The creatures will sit in the middle of fire, spikes, thorns, etc and not take any damage or status effects. When enemies sit on fire they should burn and get off it, they shouldn't be able to sit in its shroud and mend every other creature.

Some enemies with special abilities can now be triggered by traps, but I think it's by design that they can't be hurt by them. Same as Gremlin Demo's bombs.
