I was wondering if there is anything constructive to do after running out of energy? Like, something to do while energy regenerates.
Or when you run out of energy is that all you can do until it comes back?
So...
Snipes are the little birds that roam around town.
People like to herd them into one spot as if they were collectibles.
Usually people will herd them into the small garden on the southwestern corner of the Town Hall, since there is only one entrance and is surrounded by walls so the snipes can never escape. :D
Something more constructive to do would be to scour the trade chat and auction house for good deals on materials, recipes and equipment you need.
Snipes can be pushed if you stand very closely to them, thus you can push them into areas; herding.
CURRENTLY (and I stress that this will not always be the case) dungeons give more crowns than the cost in energy. you can usually sell whatever crowns and materials you gather for more CE, which you can use to do more dungeons. (you might not get enough from a tier 1 run though)
At the current exchange rate you can never really run completely out of energy, as it is profitable to dungeon crawl T2 and beyond.
My only question is: Why don't snipes like to be herded into that garden? Should I get more people to help me herd?
Semi-off-topic: How the heck do snipes rotate their wings in a circle in order to fly? Is that even biologically possible?
Biologically, of course not. But we're on a mechanical world so anything can happen!
Keep in mind that the Strangers called the snipes "Creatures" which means biological beings. Constructs are not "creatures" by that definition.
Are you familiar with Miles "Tails" Prower?
People seem to like snipe herding and general socializing or buying/selling using the Auction House.
But really, Crystal Energy does end up taking a good portion of playtime, so that's usually why most end up trading the crowns they get from their exploring for more CE.
