I was afraid of this; binding making steam only..

Yeah, the optional.
It's still a sexy mask though, and yeah the features, I'm aware I don't have to bind, but this is like "free cake but you can't have it unless you give up pie, or some such better simile I fail to come up with.
Sigh, still gonna bind, but man, if something happens making steam not work for me, I'll be majorly ticked.
Oh yeah, and I don't like being required to use steam to pay, especially after the made TF2 free the day after I paid, whether it's limited free or not.
*edit* Meh, the most likely things: Banning, and Steam freezing my computer completely upon opening, it already freezes for 10 minutes.

Now I know you said they couldn't be unbound, but is it that they cant, or wont? just curious.
It's certainly optional yes.
Getting access to the Steam features may be a better reason than the mask alone.
