Well with the karting around, I think most knew that was a bug bound to get fixed at some point. We sure got plenty of bug reports on it. Other emotes did the same. It was fun! But it looked broken.
I think the idea with the suggestions is that it should be rolled into the new Spiral Uplink, just didn't make it there yet. There are still Suggestion Boxes around you can use however.
And yeah figured there'd be a lot of mail sent to GMs, which is not an ideal place for your important questions to sit, where no other GMs can respond to it. It's best that it goes in the proper queue so we can respond quickly!

But yes: I did love the completely goofy game mechanic of sledding around on our butts, like those old wheeled furniture movers I played with as a kid. Every game needs a little silliness somewhere.

I agree with this! This is a charming game about cute robots killing cute things to get cuter. Sliding around while sitting is probably a thing that robots can do anyway, and it was fun to do. Why not just let it be a feature? Not every bug is a detriment to the game that requires immediate fixing.

To add to Pupu's point, I'd like to keep the arrow keys making your knight stand up. But yes, I don't want to involuntarily stand up and talk while my friend and I are watching the latest PVP match on television.

Side note, since someone mentioned the removal of the Suggestions Button I gotta say: The 4-button UI looks terrible now. The random space between the Uplink button and the Bugs button shouldn't be there, it just looks off in my opinion.

If we're not going to have butt-carting, I would think it'd be acceptable to at least have chatting while sitting in its place. It's certainly better than the unceremonious disruption.
