Just like a bunch of people trying to get some silly hat like a insane TF2 player (lol Hat Knights), I was about to convert my account to Steam (even created my Steam account already), until I saw this:
* All further energy purchases must be made through the in-game Steam Wallet as you will not be able to log into the web account.
Wait What.
So, if I convert my account, I won't be able use the payment system from this site? Like mobile payments and PayByCash? Because I don't have a Credit Card, and every payment method on Steam requires one (ok, except one, that doesn't support my country, oh joy). And no, it's not "that easy" to get a Credit Card to me (for now, at least). I already tried to get a friend of mine to help me, but all I got is a "lol no, why the hell I would put my credit card on the internet? U MAD?".
I think I will get a good pack of CE, and then convert my account... or maybe I won't convert it at all. Steam isn't THAT great without a credit card and a bunch of friends, anyway.
And I guess I can live without that hat. Oh well.

As a side-question, if I, for whatever reason, delete* my Steam account, I will automatically lose my knights, right?
No "Go back to Three Rings site" option, right? (*No, I don't even know if there is a option to do this, it's my first time using Steam)
I have to reinstall the whole game too, right?
