Yay, we finally have a way to message offline people without using friend requests! Here's a pair of nitpicks:

  1. It would be nice to have a drop-box or even a sort field with friends and guild-mates names. This would really help when some people have some aggravatingly complex names.
  2. Even though as you type the first letter of the name is forced capitalized and the next always appear lower case the system is still case sensitive. Basically keyboard input may be "NJthug" and appears in the to box as "Njthug" the system still tries to send (and fails) to "NJthug".

Next paragraph, please!

I'd like to be able to make paragraphs instead of making a huge block of text. Hitting enter will open up the chat box, even when composing a message, see...

Really? There were linebreaks

Really? There were linebreaks in a message that I got from Levonis. Ask how he did it.

I'd like it if there was a sent mails "box" that saved the messages you have sent (at least for a few days)
I'm quite forgetful of what I write.

A quick test later for Saphy

A quick test later for Saphy & Pauling's paragraph mysteries: I cannot add lines via typing (doesn't bring up the chat bar for me or do anything at all), but I can do it if I type it up outside of Spiral Knights and then Ctrl-v paste it into a mail.

Linebreaks

I wonder if shift+enter (soft line break) would also work.

Nope. Enter with shift or

Nope. Enter with shift or ctrl don't go anything if you have nothing in the chat history. If there is anything in the chat, then enter by itself or with anything else in the mail window will just bring up your chat entry box.

What's happened there is

What's happened there is likely what I outlined in Point 2. The recipient name is case sensitive to the keyboard input, which isn't necessarily what's on screen. Try hitting SHIFT + r as you type the name and it should work.
