Arena Training Mode

The general idea:

Giving players a permanent place to fight real enemies at zero energy cost but has no rewards other than tiny amounts of Heat and bragging rights.

Pros

Costs Zero Energy to play.
Gives out *tiny* amounts of Heat.

CONS

No item drops
No crown drops

Misc.

Could create a High-Score / Fast-Time Leaderboard: Fight for bragging rights!~

Could have two modes 4-player normal arena-style

8-player tag-team (each player has 1 Life, or permanent rotation swapping with no life limit).
I was intigued by the Training Hall holding more than 4 players.

Cool idea. This would be

Cool idea. This would be WAAAAAY better than the tiny enemy cage in the advanced training hall. But you shouldn't get heat from training, just saying.

No heat, I think. There's no risk in the training hall, so there should be no reward other than bragging rights. Plus if there is any tangible award, it will cost energy. That's just how it works.

if Three Rings ever added

if Three Rings ever added this to the game, it will be without heat.

I can understand saying no to Heat on 3*+ items

I can understand saying no to heat, it's just I was trying to think of something as a reward, such as Mini-tank for high scores once a week, it's just Heat seemed easier. I can see why saying no to Heat on 3* or better items, but what about 2* and lower? Only upper tier equipment *needs* to be leveled, so what if the lower tier gets Heat but not the upper?

I'd still take a Training Arena with no rewards whatsoever, but a Top score / Time list would still be neat.

Bump. Besides no heat, a few

Bump. Besides no heat, a few other ideas:

Have it set up essentially like the arena levels, but with a theme of a Colosseum.

Change the theme every two-six hours.

Have one colosseum for each star level, If you go to a lower star level, your equipment is nerfed to behave like the earlier version.

Disallow healing items, allow pre-battle vial selection. Disallow rezzing for groups.

Plenty possible modes for competition with other players. Wave survival, pure endurance to the death. Timed, score equals time from start to final kill, force to be daring to win, no spending an hour circling. Time limit, kill as many as possible in a time span. Shard defense, a large crystal pillar in the middle, monsters come in from the outside, kill as many as possible before the pillar is shattered. Gauntlet: Get across a long corridor filled with mobs. Learn to push through a group that's 2 or three deep.

Have a leaderboard, for solo, duo, and full team. When the colosseum changes, give trophies, like a sash or a hat modifier.

@ Prezombie

Great post, thank you!

Although, I think I'd have the leaderboards reset every 2 days, tying it in with the changing of the gates.
More intuitive, and informative (so if you see the leaderboards about to reset, you know the gates are about to change as well)

I think is a great idea.

I like this.. a kind of arena.. yeah. (to be honest i dont mind the heat, rewads, blah blah blah, but i want it to be free, if possible). About the Changing every six hours (as Prezombie said).. well, i think it will be better to have the option of choosing what you want to fight against with (it might be too much, but it will be the best thing to do), but of course, dont put the Bosses.
The reward here will be improvement of skills and knowledge for the everyday fighting skils.

The idea for this place i have... A big room (put like a second haven but in a room), have different doors (the kind of creatures, themes, damages, blah blah blah)... and well. for the difficulty (it will be as what Tier you are). And for a party (if there is an possible option, which i will like) the difficulty will be as the party leader Tier it has (i hope you get the idea).
