I can't seem to play this with the black/white screen crash after validating files. I just wanted to make sure my system would be able to handle this game on the off-chance it's my system.

Processor: Intel Pentium 4CPU 3.06 GHz
Memory: 2046 MB Ram
Direct X 9.0
Display Nvidia Geforce 9400
Display Memory: 512.0 MB
Is this enough to play the game?
I've updated my video Drivers from Nvidia just yesterday before I posted the thread so those are set, and I downloaded the latest version of Java too. I'll try updating both again.
Are you using the game through steam by any chance?
Yeah. I've already tried using both the steam version, the direct download and adding the direct download to the steam folder. Nothing seems to be working. it's always a white or black screen after it finishes validating.
When the screen blanks out, do you hear any music in the background? Or does the game just close itself out?
When I start the game it goes straight to the blank screen. No music plays, the game freezes and I have to close it myself. The cursor appears to change to whatever the game uses for a cursor, but that's the only change I see. I tried just leaving it there for an hour or so and it was still the same. Any other things I should look out for?
What version java are you using, and whats the date on your video drivers? Everything else meets the requirements.
