tf2 mask?

i have a steam account, and the character on it has already gotten the mission accomplished achievement. according to the wiki, that's what you need for the tf2 mask. does this mean i can't get it?

Download TF2 on steam (which is free as of yesterday), go to customization, click on soldier, go to hats, there's the hat.

Its not a mask, its a helm

And a rather ugly one on the soldier anyway.
