I tried on both Steam and on the game's website, with the same result.
When I try to launch it, the launcher appears, it patches and validates to 100%, but then disappears and nothing happens.
If I try again, literally nothing happens.
Any tips?

Sometimes it may take a while to start. Sometimes you need to update video drivers or java.
If you played before and it worked fine, you might want to try to reboot your PC.
