Me, being the weird person that I am, do not want to specialize defense in any one area just yet. Don't ask why.

So, I have Spiral Scale Armor, the most "average" of the armors and the non-specialized set for 1*. What I want to know is what is the Spiral Set for 2*? Thank you for your time.

So in other words you want to

So in other words you want to focus on normal defense 0.o?

I guess the best one you can hope for is the plate mail series.

Umm. Spiral Plate specializes

Umm.

Spiral Plate specializes in Normal defense, the the point of reducing your attack speed.

The closest thing to a "continuation" of Spiral Scale is Drake Scale.... at 3*. There is no 2* scale armor.

Most 2* armors have multiple defenses.

If you want to spread your defenses, you might try Wolver coat/cap (Normal and Pierce) + Spiral Demo suit/helm (Normal and Elemental) + Skelly Shield (Normal and Shadow). If you don't intend to use bombs, you can swap Spiral Demo for Magic cloak/hood.

By the way, there is not a single source of damage in Tier 1 that can hit you with Piercing. Spiral Scale (and almost all 1* gear for that matter) is a dead-end newbie-trap.

At 3*, you can combine Angelic Raiment/Helm (Normal and Shadow) with Drake Scale Mail/Helm (Piercing and Elemental) and have even defenses to everything, plus the shield of your choice.
