I've been wondering since the increasing among of piercing damage dealers in T2 an d T3,is a Vog Cub Cap and a Dragon Scale Mail effective?Since it gives normal defense, and lot's of elemental defense and piercing defense.Just asking for opinion :]
Vog Cub+Dragon Scale,Good?
scale helm/maill doesnt give "normal" defence, of your list, only Vog does.
having only one part of the set contributing to a defence type is kinda.. next to useless. heck, im currently using a 4* virulisk suit (yeahyeah, criticisms aside) and have 2 jelly king bands on (the 100sparks one) and im still getting hit for 10 or so hp at times by jellies amazingly.
Crimson, which tier is this? Did you see what color the damage bars were when they fell off you?
The normal defense is from the Vog Cub,both adding up will have a very high elemental defense
Gigafreak,u mean silvermail with?
Isn't Dragon supposed to be used exclusively in beast stratums for the bonus?
I have dragon mail, and it works for t3.. Just not well. Often times I'm overlooked in Vanaduke runs because of my armor not have normal defence.
But I love my dragon armor.
If I were you, vog armor with Piercing UV bonus or just stick with vog and dragon Shield.
I'm rage crafting for UV Bonus Normal Defence: Max lol
How about Vog cub+Skolver?
I have a vog cub set and I love it. Perfect for vanaduke. Skolver is mainly used for jelly and frost runs.
I do not condone armor mixing. You are better off making two different sets of armor. I would never suggest Dragon Scale gear as an option unless all you want is fire resist. Even then there are much more acceptable armors for that (Volcanic Demo, Vog Cub, Volcanic Salamander, and Divine Mantle to name a few).
Skolver protects against almost nothing in Firestorm Citadel. You need to deal primarily with Fire status and Shadow damage in there.
The problem is, most Shadow armor gives a weakness to Fire. Silvermail, however, does not. Silvermail's problem is its lack of Normal defense. You could also try Deadshot for Normal + Shadow + Damage Bonuses vs. Undead.
Think of trying Silvermail instead. At least your defenses will be spread more evenly.
