So, I bought the Jelly Armor set (Helm, Mail, Shield), hoping to use it ingame, and then also use it in a recipe to make brute jelly armor. I bought a Brute Jelly Helm Recipe, and I have all of the materials and Crowns/CE I need to make it, but it won't let me upgrade my Jelly Helm. It simply does not appear when I try to use it in the recipe.
Are bound items not allowed to be upgraded?

Bound items can be upgraded.
Worn items cannot. Put on your starter helm instead of the Jelly.
OOO really needs to add an error message about this at the alchemy terminal.
