Just a random idea that popped into my head, but how about a shop for getting equipment to use only as costume that can be bought with crowns?
There are a lot of equipment that people like and look cool however many are not willing to get for the sole purpose because its not as useless as other stuff and its too much for a costume(Azure Guardian and Chaos Cowl come to mind). It could serve as a possible crown sink which many say is needed in this game, and allow the population to look much more diversified than mostly variations on the wolver sets.

Wearing high level armor
Wearing high level armor costumes also function as a status symbol of how rich a player is. I'm sure a lot of high level players will be annoyed when a bunch of new players start running around looking like they're wearing Vog Gear and takes away from all the effort the old players put in. If a costume shop is put in it is going to have to be expensive, but if it is expensive then whats the point?

Well the idea is the costumes would be cheaper than if you actually decided to go through the process of making it cause they would act purely just costumes. However that doesn't mean I think they should be dirt cheap. As I stated in my previous post this could act as a possible crown sink which many say we need. I don't think the status/symbol of high level armors is that big a deal(but then that is just my opinion).

I thought, perhaps incorrectly, that the point of this thread was an appeal to OOO to make NEW items that are Costume-Only.
In my mind, new content that are costume-only without the need for stat balancing might be ok, so long as they are in line with crafting/costs of armors (maybe a bit cheaper).

Yeah, I think there should be a costume shop but it should have things for all wealth levels.
However, each star should be unique, because i think it is kind of sad how the people with max equipment don't stand out at all because everyone is wearing something that looks almost identical in a slightly different color scheme.
On a somewhat related note, I'd also like the ability to mess with my color scheme. For example, I love my spiral tailed helm (although it is only in the costume slot till i can get my hands on an an angelic helm) but i really need to change its color away from gold to work well with most of my other cute but now useless equipment.

If they do introduce new costumes it will probably be tied in with a promotional sale of CE. That's how they did it with the Rose Regalia and I doubt they'll just add money maker like new costumes into the game without cashing in first.
I'd certainly be interested in items that exist as Costume-only, but I figure they would be craftable / random drops rather than from an npc shop.
