I made a list of things I would love to have added to the game:

1. More mist energy
I want to be able to store more mist energy than 100. It is unfair having to wait for my mist energy to fill up, only to find out I can buy what I wanted! Not only that, but it takes for ever!

2. Free dungeons
No one always has energy, and having to pay to get in a dungeon is unfair. At least make one dungeon free to play!

3. Pets
I think it would be epic to have a pet fight with me at all times. Why not add a beast master person to the game so that people can buy pets that fight with you? I would LOVE to have a Wolver teammate.

4. Free crafting
It stinks when you have to pay to craft. At least make it somewhat cheaper or make it so you only have to pay with crowns!

Well, thats it, and I am 100% sure some of you people would love having the ideas applied!

Pets? Inb4 this will turn into "Kill a gremlin, pose around your cosmetic items". However, wide character customization is always nice.

Free Crafting makes no point. Auctions won't be worth it then. Prices will get extremely low, and Spiral Knights will turn into a 'one week' games. Which I don't wish to happen.

Lowering elevator prices would be nice, but not making them completely free. It's just stupid.

Why do you need more mist energy, when you 'suggest' to remove energy cost from elevators and crafting? To buy trinket slots over and over? To recharge your mist tank, you'll need 24 hours. I assume that you sleep?

Ok, by pets, I meant the abilitie to buy a permanent minion. "Pets" was the first short word that came to me. and by free crafting, I meant I dont want to pay energy to make a shield! I guess your right on the third and forth thing.

Its not that, its just that not everyone gets energy in big amounts, and when stuff are expensive as they are, not everyone wants to have to pay like 50 energy for everything! Especially when you get to tier 2. I can understand paying energy but crowns too?!

I just listed what I would like. Free dungeons and free crafting seems stubid now that I read it. But at least make dungeons not be too expensive! Or make crafting somewhat cheaper! Whenever I get energy I pretty much get drained right out of it because everything costs like 200 energy!!!

I have to agree that this is asking for too much. I have thought that maybe mist energy could be converted to crystal after you have 100. This could give some people the chance to save up some energy to run clockworks or craft. but it would cause too much energy to enter the economy.

you have to make priorities to get more crystal energy over crafting. I have a story about this, but I wont share it. Just remember to buy more crystal energy instead of spending the 200 CE on crafting.

E > C > Crafting

energy > crowns > crafting

i know i would have been asked what the e and c were.

@ jetah: I would rather have your idead than mine energy wise, but the part about crafting I didnt fully understand. You know you have to pay BOTH energy and crowns to craft right?

2. only if u gain NOTHING from it.... no crowns, drops of any kind, not even mineral deposits

3.no just no, i have enough issues with the AI currently in the game please dont add to the problem

Here's my thoughts about all of it.
    1. More mist energy

Though tempting I think 100 is already a good nice number. Especially with the option to get CE for crowns. A Tier 1 dungeon usually takes around 60 ME to finish, and forks over around 4k CR -- as well as materials you can sell. In a couple of days of patient (and free) playing you can get enough to start amazing CE 100 a a time.

It's just a matter of smart playing and investing. So neigh to this.

    2. Free Dungeons

While tempting, again, I don't think they should be free. Still, maybe once you pass to another Tier the cost of the Tiers before could be lowered slightly. SAy you are already in Tier 3 -- maybe Tier 1 & 2 each take 5 ME or CE to go down floors instead of the usual 10. But for this you'd have to pass the boss -- plus reach the end on all available gates (the ones shown in your progress thing) for that Tier.

I think right now it's auto if you clear the Snorlabox (sorry if I butchered his name D:) 'cause I have Tier 1 marked in all the gates even though I'm possitive I never went down some of them. Or maybe I did and don't remember. *shrug*

Not a completely bad idea, but would have to be considered and played with it carefully.

    3. Pets

Alright, I would personally love this -- maybe it could be limited to the simpler stages of the creatures. Like the small little Wolver (not the scruffy looking bigger one) and so on. And maybe, once the Pet gains enough EXP or whatever (maybe you can craft stuff for it for this purpose, or every time you clear a floor they get a small percent of heat like equipment and stuff) you could do some voo-doo magic like they do on items and use CE and CR to "evolve" your pet into something else (no bosses available ever of course).

They could have a x% chance of attacking enemies when you're fighting -- but not attacking all the time -- and maybe the same damage cap in the depths for swords and stuff could also apply to them. So no broken pets killing everyhting off for you -- as well as eliminating the health bar for them.

It coul be like in Ragnarok Online for the Hunter or something like that (the ones with bows). They could have a falcon and (in this case depending on how much you had invested to your LUCK stat) every now and then your bird would swoop down and land damage to something you were hitting. No health bar for the pet, no stuff like that, but he'd help you out every now and then (if the little guy felt like it :P).

Again, not a bad idea (and one I would adore if implemented correctly <3).

    4. Free crafting

WAit, you're serious? Hell no. And that's final. That would screw up the whole economy -- and I like the AH and everything else about it very much so far, thank you.

So yeah, the Dungeon pricing and the Pets are something I wouldn't mind being bounced around the OOO table and see if it can be do-able in a way that doesn't screw up the awesomeness that is Spiral Knights already -- but rather adds more glory to it. The more ME and free crafting is a big, fat NO though.

And really, the game can literally be F2P forever if you know how to invest those 100 ME you get every 24 hours and make smart decisions. And, of course, are veeeryyy patient. Otherwise find a way to adjust your budget and maybe shell out a couple of bucks their way to get some starting CE -- and invest it /well/.

Really, the game is amazing, updated constantly and free to download and smack at monsters. People at OOO have homes and families (as well as themselves) that need to eat real food and pay real houses with real money to be able to live and continue making this game awesome.

It's not bad to spend on in-game stuff when the game really deserves it. :D

First of all, do you guys even bother to read my later posts? I said free crafting is stubid, but cheaper crafting is good! Forget everything I said about dungeons ok? Pets should have health gauges and should just heal over time, but the idea where they can grow is cool.

i would LOVE to have pets, they could add some nice aspects to the game and the folks who are all 5 star would have new goals to reach! it may boost them to higher levels quicker but that could easily be remedied by making more depth and would just allow for more gameplay, not less

True, it is about skill. So I came up with an idea that still involves AI pets, but less help. No health for the pet, instead, let it walk around with you outside of a dungeon, but when equiped, give you a special abilitie that allows you to call it in for one powerful attack on an enemy! and the attack would have a charge time of a certain period. Also, I think it would be nice to be able to edit a guildhall on creation (if not possible already). But only with parts they put in. It would also be nice to be able to go to other guild's guildhalls. Thats about it besides PvP, but everyone wants that!
