I've also heard rumor that you get them if you submit bug reports/suggestions. But I can't really confirm that :) Also, plenty of us have oodles of spares, so if you have people you'd like to invite you can likely ask around Haven and people would be more than willing to invite them for you.
I'm pretty sure you acquire one after every 10 floors you complete or something like that.
