They're working well for me.
Screenshots
It turned Spiral Knights into Silent Hill.
I can't say I'm not amazed, but I've been using F12 to capture things just to find out all my pictures came out distorted.
Which OS are you on?
And which graphics card do you have?
Running Vista 32-bit.
dxdiag says my graphics card is a: Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family
I don't think that will help.
Out of curiosity, I tested to see how my screenshots worked. They seem to come out fine. Always nice to have a control group, I say!
I'm currently running on Windows XP Professional 32-bit, service pack 3
Video card is an nVidia GeForce 8600GTS, stock clockrate and 256MBs of VRAM
Game was running at 1024x768 32-bit 60hz, at high detail.
Try and change:
- Resolution
- Vertical Sync
- Refresh rate (the hz when choosing resolutions)
And check screen shots with each of those changes.
I changed Vertical Sync, nothing changed.
I changed the resolution and the screenshots worked fine.
Refresh rate didn't change anything either.
What is you native resolution on the laptop?
And which resolutions worked and didn't work?
Oh also try and see if it makes a difference with full screen or windowed mode in the resolution where it doesn't work.
1366x768 for both.
1360x768 worked though, so 6 pixels of difference changed everything.
Also windowed mode didn't change anything.
Yeah, I think I know what caused this, and it should be fixed in the next release. Believe it or not, it was all because the width wasn't evenly divisible by four.
Oh computers, when will they learn?
That's actually kinda awesome.
