Iconic work!

I've been adding icons to the list of alchemy paths. Pretty interesting to see what doesn't have matching icons and all.

In the course of that, I've created two templates. One for the helmet/armor sets on the alchemy paths page (Template:Set) and one for a bulleted list of set items which has an optional spot for a shield (Template:Setlist). This is also pretty telling in terms of what doesn't have matching icons. You can see Setlist in action at Firebreak Helm.

The only thing that doesn't work with the templates is the Fallen set.

I was thinking about making a "list of armor sets" page or something. Could have a screenshot of the player in a full set as well. Any thoughts on this or on the iconing of pages?

Hm

I like the icons in the list, some color mismatches are quite ugly. Also makes me think we need more icons.
Maybe it would be nice to double the tabulations so they get a little more separation (easy to do with a script).
A sets list would probably be nice, to find those sets that lack shields mostly, since armor/helm always come in sets.

Also, is there any page when we can find all the templates?

http://wiki.spiralknights.com/index.php?title=Special%3AAllPages&from=&t... There are a lot of useful things in the "special pages" link on the sidebar nav.

Where would you want extra spacing? Between the ones that have two icons or are you talking about vertically?

After a couple discussions with other players, I'm also going to do a page that has some comparisons of things like the Gunslinger series where there are multiple options. See my user talk page to add your input into it.

Spacing

No, I mean more spacing between "hierarchys"
Basically changing

to

*****
Also, a blank line between different "trees" wouldn't hurt.
I'll make this changes later if nobody is against them.

Sounds okay to me. I've been trying to think of better ways of formatting it as well. I was also thinking I should at least put the star level of the equipment after its name because that would be useful in many cases.

Well, I tried to double the tabulations, but ended with double bullet points, so I scratched that idea.
I doubled the vertical spacing though.

Maybe a format like this would look better:

Sealed Sword
╠ Avenger
║ ╚ Divine Avenger
╚ Faust
  ╚ Gran Faust

If the wiki encoding allows it.

We could also just use a table with few table like graphics, and have all X star items aligned to rows, and some sort of line connecting the trees.
I'm terrible at actually making the templates though.

Might be a good idea to structure things so they get carried somehow to the individual item pages, in the "used to craft X" section.

I thought about doing a table

I thought about doing a table before, but it's a tad complicated. Possibly later when there aren't more pressing things for me to work on. For the bullets, I've left a note on your talk page on how to do that.

This list was very useful.

I'd just like to say, this list was very useful. We should put a direct link to this on the Equipment page so it is more accessible, as well as each relevant subpage. The link on the Swords subpage, as an example, could have a bookmark/scroll-down directly to the Swords section of the list.

Also, I'm fairly sure there is a hierarchical structure to Trinkets as well, however I don't see Trinkets listed (yet?). They aren't overly important, probably the least so, but having them up there sometime in the future would be an asset.
