This is disappointing. Get a load of this; the Shadowsun Stetson's description reads:

"A dashing hat for duelists who prefer to get their business done at midnight, rather than high noon."

Well, since I've worn the Gunslinger Hat for so long, upgrading it to the Sunset Stetson and seeing no change in this white hat was a bummer. Because of the description of the Shadowsun Stetson, I expected it to be black, but nope. It's still white, with the star and everything.

I sure hope this is changed later, because I really don't want to be walking around in this mismatched colored poncho and hat for much longer.

They'll get around to it.

They've updated art for shields and weapons, armour should be next on the list.

Yup, art for many armors and helmets desperately need an update. I remember being uberly disappointed when I upgraded my Mighty Cobalt Armor to the Azure Guardian Armor.
But art updates are coming. They're coming. :)

There is a black hat option

There is a black hat option in the gunslinger hat line- I believe that it's the nameless hat.

If you want to prevent people from making the same mistake you did, perhaps consider uploading an image of the (equipped) item for the wiki?

Yeah.

Just did. I was too disappointed last night to do it, and plus I'm sick so I was feeling a little woozy. Feeling better this morning though, so I went ahead and updated it. Why don't more people upload pictures? There needs to be a public service announcement about it or some crap.

There's an entire wiki

There's an entire wiki section to the forums now, ironbear. Thanks for adding this image! :)

If you'd like to see the list of images that still need to be added, the lovely Equinox has compiled them all into one convenient reference page: http://wiki.spiralknights.com/User:Equinox/needed_images

I suspect that the problem is partly ignorance, and partly that most people cluster on the same few items. As a result, the few people who are likely to screenshot items are left crafting the vast number of very expensive items that no one else is likely to make. If you have some items on that list, though, it would go a long way towards making the wiki more useful for people.
